These terms of use (“Terms of Use”) apply to the website (“Site”) operated by Pioneer Europe NV (“naamloze vennootschap”/”société anonyme”), with registered seat at Haven 1087, Keetberglaan 1 B, 9120 Melsele, Belgium and registered in the Crossroads Bank of Enterprises under number 0406.999.132 and VAT BE 0406.999.132 (“Pioneer”).

The Site is accessible via https://eu.oem.pioneer and is intended exclusively for professional business users. It provides general information about Pioneer’s OEM business activities in Europe.

By accessing and using this Site you agree to have read and accepted the terms outlined in these Terms of Use, which apply to any visit to the Site and to all information or use thereof. The Site may only be used in accordance with these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to the Terms of Use, please do not use the Site.

This Site is not intended for consumer support or product purchases. For information about Pioneer consumer products, please visit https://www.pioneer-car.eu.

  1. MODIFICATIONS

Pioneer may revise and update these Terms of Use at any time. You should therefore visit this page in conjunction with each visit to the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any changes to these Terms of Use will mean you accept those changes.

Any aspect of the Site may be changed, supplemented, deleted or updated without notice at the sole discretion of Pioneer. 

  1. USE OF THE SITE AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

Pioneer, its content suppliers and licensors own the copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material and content, including the images, logos, texts, design, underlying software, etc., on this Site (“Contents)”.

Pioneer grants you a limited licence to access and make use of this Site. This licence does not include:

  • the right to modify, copy, duplicate, publish, use, reproduce or download in whole or in part the Site or its Contents; except for page catching necessary for your own personal and non-commercial correct use of the Site,
  • any resale or commercial use of the Site or its Contents,
  • any use, visit, downloading or copying of account information for the benefit of a third party,
  • any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools,
  • any other derivative use of this Site or its Contents.

In case of any copy or use of the Contents you must obtain prior written approval from Pioneer and the Pioneer status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of material on our Site must always be acknowledged.

Any request for these actions must be sent by email to oem@pioneer.eu. 

  1. HYPERLINKS

Our Site may contain hyperlinks to other websites and social media platforms, such as Pioneer’s global corporate site, the U.S. OEM website (https://usa.oem.pioneer), or LinkedIn. While these websites are operated within the Pioneer group, each may be subject to its own terms of use and privacy policy.

Pioneer has no technical or substantive control capabilities over third-party websites or external platforms. If you wish to include a hyperlink to our Site on your own website, you must obtain prior written approval from Pioneer. This approval can be unilaterally withdrawn with immediate effect. The request must be sent by email to oem@pioneer.eu.

  1. YOUR CONDUCT

You must not use the Site in any way that causes, or is likely to cause, the Site or access to it to be interrupted, damaged or impaired in any way.

You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or related systems.

You must not submit false or misleading information through the contact form or transmit content containing viruses or other harmful code. 

  1. SITE CONTENT

The Site Content may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. Product descriptions, system illustrations, or visual representations shown on the Site may slightly differ from actual products or specifications.

Pioneer reserves the right to restrict access to the Site or remove content at any time.

Pioneer will do its utmost to ensure that availability of the Site will be uninterrupted. However, your access to the Site may occasionally be suspended or restricted. Pioneer will attempt to limit the frequency and duration of any such suspension or restriction.

In no event and to the extent authorised by the applicable law (see point 11), shall Pioneer nor anyone who works for Pioneer be liable for any damages, including without limitation, special, indirect or consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever resulting from the use, content or performance of the Site.

Pioneer does not guarantee the proper functioning or constant accessibility of the Site and cannot be held liable if this is not the case, regardless of its cause (for example, technical malfunctions, viruses). Pioneer disclaims all liability for the content, operation and functionality of third-party websites that may be accessible through our Site.

Pioneer is also not liable for damage caused by the failure of electronic communication via the Site such as delays, interceptions or manipulations of third parties related to that communication. 

  1. APPLICABLE LAW AND COMPETENT COURT

By using our Site, you acknowledge that its content is governed solely by Belgian law. In case of dispute, only the courts of the judicial district of Brussels have jurisdiction.
